Abstract:
Questo lavoro presenta uno studio comparativo dei principali caratteri della terminologia specialistica delle assicurazioni in lingua italiana e in lingua francese, e si propone di approfondire la conoscenza e la descrizione dell’ambito disciplinare in analisi. L’uso speciale della lingua presuppone una comunicazione efficace, rapida precisa limitata ad un gruppo di esperti del settore che privilegiano un lessico che veicola informazioni chiare e fruibili anche a livello internazionale. La terminologia rappresenta, quindi, il sapere enciclopedico di una disciplina specialistica, e offre la possibilità di indagare e esplorare le diverse sfaccettature del settore in esame. Per il nostro lavoro abbiamo sintetizzando in tre momenti le diverse realtà insite nella pratica assicurativa: 1. la storia del settore e le origini della terminologia assicurativa; 2. la rassegna delle fonti di descrizione della materia assicurativa e l’analisi delle tipologie testuali dominanti; 3. gli studi terminologici applicati alla pratica traduttiva, associata ad una rassegna di fonti di lessicografia specialistica. Al lavoro, infine, sarà allegato un glossario descrittivo della materia assicurativa, inteso come prodotto terminologico dello studio affrontato, con l’obiettivo di fornire uno strumento di consultazione per il pubblico e per i traduttori. ; This work presents a comparative study of the main characters of insurance terminology in Italian and French language. The special purpose of language requires, fast and accurate communication for a limited group of experts who prefers a language that conveys information clear at an international level. The terminology is, therefore, the encyclopaedic knowledge of a specialized discipline, and offers the possibility to investigate and explore the different aspects of the specialized area. For our work, we have summarized in three different moments the insurance practice: 1. the history and the origins of insurance terminology; 2. description of the sources of insurance matters and analysis of dominant text types; 3. terminology studies applied to translation practice, with a review of sources of specialized lexicography. Finally, the work will be attached a descriptive glossary of insurance matters, with the aim to give a reference tool for the public and for translators.
