Abstract:
Статья обобщает многолетний опыт работы в вузе. Преподавание английского языка является нелегкой задачей, особенно в стране, где английский язык не является родным для студентов и его изучение в вузе ограничено определенными целями обучения. В настоящее время студенты часто сталкиваются с многочисленными проблемами, такими как переполненные языковые группы, плохое владение словарным запасом, низкая концентрация внимания, скука, проблемы с речью из-за низкого уровня владения языком, неумение организовать свою работу и неспособность работать самостоятельно, отличать фейковую (fake – ложный, англ.) информацию от реальной. Между тем проблемы преподавателей заключаются в недостаточной языковой практике и необходимости пересматривать методы преподавания в плане использования информационных технологий, в то время как основным педагогическим инструментом остается умение мотивировать студентов к овладению иностранным языком. ... : The article summarizes many years of work experience at a university. Teaching English is not an easy task, especially in a country where English is not a native language for students, and its study is limited to specific learning purposes. Nowadays, undergraduates quite often face numerous problems, ranging from overcrowded foreign language groups, insufficient mastery of vocabulary, low concentration, boredom and difficulties with speech due to the low level of language proficiency, lack of discipline, inability to work independently and to distinguish fake information from the real one. Meanwhile, problems of teachers lie in insufficient language practice and the need to revise teaching methods in terms of information technology.
