Abstract: В рамках данной статьи рассматривается проблематика актуальных тенденций цифровизации иноязычного обучения в неязыковом вузе. Отмечается то, что цифровизация выступает одним из ключевых трендов в современном образовании, в особенности в рамках высших учебных заведений. Особую роль цифровизация играет в иноязычном обучении, поскольку предоставляет целый спектр возможностей, которые упрощают процесс изучения языка, увеличивают мотивацию студентов, их вовлеченность в процесс обучения. В статье рассмотрены ключевые направления развития современного иноязычного образования, каждое из которых так или иначе связано с цифровизацией. Особо важную роль играет проблематика машинного перевода, который выполняет важную функцию как в обучении, так и в практической деятельности технических специалистов и специалистов других сфер деятельности, что диктует необходимость изучения и обучения использованию данной технологии в неязыковом вузе. ... : Within the framework of this article, problems of current trends in the digitalization of foreign language education in a non-linguistic university are considered. It is noted that digitalization is one of the key trends in modern education, especially in higher education institutions. Digitalization plays a special role in foreign language learning, as it provides a whole range of opportunities that simplify the process of learning a language, increase students’ motivation and their involvement in the learning process. The article examines the key directions of the development of modern foreign language education, each of which is somehow connected with digitalization. Machine translation plays a special role both in training and in the practical activities of technical specialists and specialists in other fields of activity, which dictates the need to study and teach the use of this technology in a non-linguistic university. ...
