Abstract: The selection of the elements analysed has been made in order to show certain aspects that could be exploited from the teaching point of view as a tool to facilitate the teaching-learning process of English. The main objective of this work is to offer a contrastive analysis of the main quantifying elements in Arabic and English in light of the theory of systems of parts of speech. General characterization of Arabic and English, is designed to illustrate the most relevant features of both languages. At the lexical level, it was attend to the processes of linguistic contact of Arabic and English and we compare the different mechanisms of lexical creation that both languages carry out. This work is mainly based on descriptive analysis of quantifiers in Arabic and English, we form a contrastive analysis of the main quantification elements in both languages in light of the theory of systems of parts of speech, well understood that this model has been critically assumed according to the arguments of literature ...
