; Assuming that verbal communication isn’t transparent, and that in it we can find traces of the speaker’s presence in his own speech and how he also summons other voices and with them establishes a relationship of enunciative responsibility, we can identify several linguistic mechanisms that show a more or less degree of responsibility in relation to the enunciated contents. Considering what was mentioned and taking a notion that journalistic discourse is particularly polyphonic or dialogic, this master's thesis aims to identify and analyze, with the help of computer tools and lexicometric techniques, signs of enunciative disresponsability in a corpus consisting of news about the Luanda Leaks case of two different Portuguese newspapers: Público, a reference newspaper, and Correio da Manhã, a popular newspaper. Given the diversity and heterogeneity of enunciative disclaimers, verbal forms in the perfect future and in the conditional perfect will be privileged. Within the theoretical framework of discursive pragmatics and the linguistics of enunciation, other aspects of enunciative construction will be considered as central to the study of enunciative responsibility, namely the concept of gender and type of discourse.
