Los tiempos del pasado: propuesta inductiva para sinohablantes a partir del concepto de temporalidad

Abstract:
The present work stems from the desire to create a didactic proposal for Chinese learners based on an inductive methodology to deal with a grammatical aspect which acquisition becomes, according to recent studies, one of the greatest difficulties for this group of students. We allude to the opposition between the past tense and the imperfect tense in the Indicative mood. There are two major challenges. The first is how to spread inductive methods among a group of students that, as we will see later, is somehow reluctant to give up completely on traditional memorization methodologies. Secondly, the treatment of the past / imperfect opposition is itself a challenge in the ELE classroom when it comes to two linguistic systems as distant from each other as Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. Being aware of the difficulties that may arise along the way, our starting point remains an analysis of the current situation of Chinese learners as social individuals first, with certain unique and non-transferable features such as their working language and the legacy of Confucius, second, as students of an L2 or LE and, third, more specifically as ELE students, taking into account the variety of learning contexts involved in this reality. Lastly, and in a pulse to try to bring closer the Spanish and Chinese systems, a comparison between both is crucial to find common ground when introducing the uses of the past and imperfect tenses to students. In turn, the contributions of cognitive grammar, regarding the use of the concept of linguistic perspective, will be taken into account since it fully suits inductive methodologies of logical reasoning in the ELE classroom. ; El presente trabajo nace del deseo de crear una propuesta didáctica para aprendientes sinohablantes basada en una metodología inductiva para tratar un aspecto gramatical que, gracias a recientes estudios, sabemos que su adquisición constituye una de las máximas dificultades por parte de este colectivo de estudiantes. Nos referimos a la oposición del pretérito indefinido y el imperfecto del modo Indicativo. Se plantean dos grandes retos. El primero, es la difusión de métodos inductivos entre un alumnado el cual, como veremos más adelante, se muestra un tanto reticente a la hora de renunciar por completo a metodologías tradicionales de memorización. Segundo, el tratamiento de la oposición indefinido / imperfecto es, de por sí, un reto en el aula ELE y más cuando se trata de dos sistemas lingüísticos tan distantes el uno del otro como son el chino mandarín y el español. Siendo conscientes de las dificultades que pueden surgir en el camino, se parte de un análisis de la situación actual de los aprendientes sinohablantes primero, como individuos sociales, con unas determinadas características únicas e intransferibles como son su lengua vehicular y el legado de Confucio, segundo, como estudiantes de una L2 o LE y, tercero, más concretamente como estudiantes de ELE, teniendo en cuenta la variedad de contextos educativos implicados en esta realidad. Por último, y en un pulso por intentar aproximar los sistemas español y chino, se realiza una comparación entre los tiempos del pasado para encontrar un punto de convergencia entre ambos sistemas que pueda ser útil a la hora de introducir los valores del indefinido e imperfecto. Se tendrán en cuenta, a su vez, las aportaciones de la gramática cognitiva en cuanto al uso del concepto de perspectiva lingüística, cuyo aprovechamiento didáctico en el aula ELE es compatible con metodologías inductivas de razonamiento lógico.
