Francese e italiano, lingue della moda: scambi linguistici e viaggi di parole nel XX secolo

Abstract:
The French and Italian lexicon of the 20th century fashion illustrates the fashion of the time, its attitudes and feelings. In this contribution, the analysis of some cases highlights unexpected linguistic paths, which find the French matrix for reverse-loan words to Italian and vice versa, for internationalism, calques and loans. The reasons and modalities of the French linguistic influence on Italian language are investigated so as the influence that both languages receive from English language in this domain. The distribution of these language contacts can be different following two directions: the terminology cor- responding to production (dresses, accessories, manufacts etc.) and terminology of fashion marketing and communication (how to communicate and promote these products in the fashion world). These two contexts bring out different lexical tendencies into the French and Italian lexicon of the 20th century. ; Le lexique français et italien de la mode du XXe siècle illustre la mode de l'époque, ses attitudes et ses émotions. Dans cette contribution, l'analyse de certains cas met en évidence des parcours linguistiques inattendus, qui trouvent la matrice française pour les emprunts de retour à l'italien et vice versa, pour les internationalismes, les calques et les emprunts à l'anglais. Les raisons et les modalités de l'influence linguistique française sur la langue italienne sont étudiées ainsi que l'influence que les deux langues reçoivent de la langue anglaise dans ce domaine. La distribution de ces contacts linguistiques peut être différente selon deux directions : la terminologie correspondant à la production (robes, accessoires, produits manufacturés etc.) et la terminologie du marketing et de la communication de la mode (comment communiquer et promouvoir ces produits dans le monde de la mode). Ces deux contextes font ressortir des tendances lexicales différentes dans le lexique français et italien du XXe siècle.
