Abstract:
This master's thesis deals with natural bilingualism at the Center for Translation Studies. By means of interviews with suitable test persons, it is to be clarified how natural bilingualism is lived at the Center for Translation Studies within the framework of the degree programmes BA Transcultural Communication and MA Translation. To begin with, all relevant theoretical con-cepts and terms of linguistics (language acquisition and bilingualism) and translation are ana-lysed and explained over several chapters on the basis of scientific literature. In the course of the analysis, the expectations and experiences of the bachelor and master students are compared and evaluated using categories formed according to Mayring (122015). ... : Die vorliegende Masterarbeit behandelt den natürlichen Bilingualismus am Zentrum für Transla-tionswissenschaft. Anhand von Interviews mit passenden ProbandInnen soll geklärt werden, wie die natürliche Zweisprachigkeit im Rahmen der Studiengänge BA Transkulturelle Kommu-nikation und MA Translation am Zentrum für Translationswissenschaft gelebt wird. Zu Beginn wurden über mehrere Kapitel hinweg sämtliche relevanten theoretischen Konzepte und Begriffe der Linguistik (Spracherwerbs und Bilingualismus) und der Translation anhand wissenschaftli-cher Literatur aufgeschlüsselt und erklärt.
