Пути развития новейшей украинской литературы (на материале критических статей Н. Зерова)
Abstract:
Н. ; M. Zerov is a landmark figure in the national literary discourse of the early twentieth century, an active participant of the literary discussions in the1925s-1928s, who clearly declares his aesthetic beliefs and civil viewpoint in the conceptual polemical article "Eurasian renaissance and the pines of Poshekhonye". Among the programmatic concepts of M. Zerov there are: declaration of the vectors of the modern national literature development, and the search of effective ways to improve the professional skills of the beginners at literature. M. Zerov was one of the first to interpret adequately without any ideological or political layers the conceptual principles of Khvylovy. In particular, the famous artist is convinced of the necessity of the young native writers to examine the achievements of the world literary high-quality production and to do the purposeful systematic translation work, which will finally improve the quality of the texts of Ukrainian begginers in literature, according to M. Zerov's viewpoint. The polemicist supposes that the rise of technical culture of young writers will also work on the positive. As to the national tradition M. Zerov speaks clearly and solidly: it should be balancedly and objectively evaluated. The critical heritage of M. Zerov is designed for thoughtful, not indifferent recipient, although the style of presentation, logic, original examples, linguistic and stylistic framing of the articles allow to understand completely the inner essence, the content of the message, even for those potential readers who do not have a high level of philological training.
