Die Kriterien stützen sich auf kognitionspsychologisch fundierte Grundannahmen zum Lernen mit multiplen Repräsentationen und beziehen Forschungsarbeiten zu lernwirksamen Aspekten der Bildgestaltung ein. Im Einzelnen werden syntaktische, semantische und pragmatische Kriterien unterschieden, die bislang zur Evaluation der instruktionalen Qualität von logischen Bildern in Schulbüchern der Wirtschaftslehre eingesetzt wurden. ; This contribution deals with the development and testing of criteria for the evaluation of the instructional quality (i.e. the learning-process-oriented design) of graphical representations in teaching materials. The criteria are based on cognitive-constructive approaches of learning with multiple representations. Moreover, current research studies concerning learning related aspects of appropriate graphic design are taken into consideration. In particular, syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic criteria are – so far – used to evaluate graphs and diagrams in business and economics textbooks.
