Evaluación de la Eficacia de la Enseñanza de Idiomas a través de la Literatura, mediante las Técnicas del Aprendizaje Cooperativo
Abstract: El uso de la literatura en la enseñanza de inglés se hace un reto cada vez más difícil debido a la aversión de los alumnos a la lectura, incluso en su propio idioma. Las actividades tradicionales que se usan para presentar la literatura en el aula de inglés tienen ciertas carencias en términos, tanto de participación de los alumnos, como de adquisición del lenguaje. Consecuentemente, en este trabajo se ha llevado a cabo una investigación con dieciséis alumnos de 1º de Bachillerato de un colegio concertado, utilizando tres técnicas de aprendizaje cooperativo para presentarles la obra de Hamlet de una manera más centrada en el alumno. Los resultados, aunque peores en términos de calificación numérica, mostraron un gran potencial tanto en términos de satisfacción de los alumnos como en la obtención de técnicas de aprendizaje permanente. ; The use of literature in the English language classroom is becoming an ever-increasing challenge due to students' aversion to reading, even in their own language. Traditional activities that are used to present literature in English language learning come up short in terms of student participation and actual language acquisition. Consequently, to contribute to a more student-centred approach to the use of literature in the English classroom, this experiment was conducted with sixteen students from lower sixth form, using three cooperative learning techniques to introduce them to the play Hamlet. The results, while worse in terms of numerical grade, showed great potential in terms of both student satisfaction and lifelong learning techniques.
