Italiano e tedesco in contatto : alcune osservazioni macro- e microsociolinguistiche in Alto Adige

Abstract:
L'Alto Adige rappresenta un campo di studio particolarmente interessante per la linguistica del contatto, sia per la notevole vitalità linguistica e sociolinguistica della comunità alloglotta (che annovera nel suo repertorio un ampio spettro di varietà diatopiche e di registri) sia per la presenza di differenti scenari sociolinguistici al suo interno, con forme di contatto (e conseguenti esiti) anche molto diverse. Questo contributo intende presentare la particolare complessità della realtà sociolinguistica altoatesina, affiancando e confrontando osservazioni su due piani diversi: il quadro sociolinguistico generale, gli atteggiamenti nei confronti dei codici e le funzioni ad essi attribuite da un lato e la tipologia di fenomeni di contatto realizzati nel parlato dall'altro. ; El Tirol del Sud representa un camp d'estudi especialment interessant per a la lingüística del contacte de llengües, tant per la notable vitalitat lingüística i sociolingüística de la comunitat al·loglota (que compta en el seu repertori amb un ampli espectre de varietats diatòpiques i de registres) com per la presència dins seu de diferents escenaris sociolingüístics, amb formes de contacte (amb els consegüents resultats) que poden ser molt diferents. Aquest article pretèn presentar l'especial complexitat de la realitat sociolingüística d'aquesta àrea tenint en compte i contrastant observacions de dos àmbits diferents: d'una banda, el quadre sociolingüístic general, les actituds en relació amb els codis i les funcions que se'ls atribueixen; de l'altra, la tipologia de fenòmens de contacte realitzats en el parlat. ; South Tyrol represents an interesting field of research for contact linguistics, both for the remarkable linguistic and sociolinguistic vitality of the German community (which counts a wide range of different dialects and stylistic varieties in its repertoire) and for the presence of different sociolinguistic scenarios in its area, with as much different contact situations and phenomena. This paper aims at presenting the complexity of the sociolinguistic context of South Tyrol, combining observations on two different levels: on the one hand, the general sociolinguistic situation, the language attitudes and the functions assigned to thedifferent codes in contact; on the other hand, the typology of contact phenomena emerging in bilingual speech.
