Abstract:
У статті досліджено особливості лексики на позначення назв тварин верхнього царства у текстах українських замовлянь. Визначено домінантні назви птахів, що функціонують у досліджуваних текстах: ворон, сокіл, півень, зозуля, голуб, ластівка, шуліка, синиця, соловей, сова. Розглянуто символіку зазначених лексем. З’ясовано, що звертання до птахів виконують характеризаційну функцію, виступають способом організації замовляльних текстів. Птахи у замовляннях наділені надзвичайними можливостями, пов’язані з царством мертвих, іноді уособлюють сина Божого, охороняють Дерево життя, володіють ключами від вирію та виконують магічну функцію. ... : The article examines the features of vocabulary for the names of animals of the upper kingdom in the texts of Ukrainian spells. We determined the dominant names of birds that function in the studied texts, such as crow, falcon, rooster, cuckoo, pigeon, swallow, kite, tit, nightingale, and owl. The symbolism of these tokens is considered. It was found that appealing to birds performs a characterizing function, act as a way of organizing texts with spells. The birds in the spells are endowed with extraordinary opportunities associated with the realm of the dead, sometimes representing the Son of God, guarding the Tree of Life, possessing the keys to the vortex, and performing a magical function. ...
