國際文憑學習者「懂得關愛」素養之實施策略與影響 ; IB Learner Profiles: Strategies and Influences for Implementing a Caring Curriculum in the Classroom
Abstract: 本研究旨在探討國際文憑學習者「懂得關愛」素養在初等教育幼兒階段課程中之實施策略,與實施後對幼兒「懂得關愛」素養之影響,其目的有:一、探討教師如何協助幼兒建構「懂得關愛」之國際文憑學習者素養。二、如何發展國際文憑學習者「懂得關愛」素養之實施策略。三、探討國際文憑學習者「懂得關愛」素養之實施策略對幼兒的影響。 研究者選取高雄一所施以國際文憑初等教育課程之5-6歲大班幼兒為研究對象,以質性研究法,透過觀察、訪談,幼兒文件作品、研究者教學日誌等方式做研究資料之蒐集,並依蒐集到之資料做文字統整與編碼,以利研究之分析,瞭解國際文憑學習者實施策略如何建構幼兒「懂得關愛」素養之行為。 本研究主要發現如下:一、國際文憑十項學習者素養,透過教師釋義、幼兒對釋義內容條列出相關行為表現進而執行之歷程,有助於幼兒對國際文憑學習者「懂得關愛」素養之理解並做出行動。二、國際文憑學習者「懂得關愛」素養之實施策略包含生活常規與隨機事件探討、 多樣形式活動之跨學科課程設計、課程反思、道德議題探討、身教等,教師可透過故事繪本、團體討論、小組活動、影片觀看、實際行動、心得分享等方式執行,使幼兒發展「懂得關愛」素養之相關概念與行為。三、懂得關愛素養之實施,能增進幼兒對國際文憑學習者「懂得關愛」素養之關懷、幫助、覺察他人需求等行為的理解並做出相關表現。 最後研究者根據研究結果與研究中所遇之問題,提出具體建議,以供日後相關研究做參考。 ; The main research purposes of this study were: (1) To explore and describe how IB Learner Profiles are understood and demonstrated by children in the classroom;(2) To explore and describe how to create a Caring curriculum for children;(3) To explore and describe the teaching strategies implemented as part of a Caring curriculum in the classroom. The participants for the study were from a preschool in Kaohsiung that adopted the IB PYP curriculum. The participants ranged in age from 5 to 6 years old. The data for this study was collected through qualitative methods, which included interview, teacher observations, student worksheets and teacher’s teaching reflection. The results are as follows: 1. The IB learner profile is central to the IB mission statement. As children understood more about the learner profiles, they could identify caring behaviours more frequently.2. The teaching strategies that can be implemented as part of a “Caring” curriculum includes: class routines, PYP activities and reflection of use of learner profiles, class discussions about moral issues and transdisciplinary themes, modeling with the use of storybooks, circle solutions and watching relevant videos.3.Through caring curriculum, the children develop caring behaviours, such as looking after others, ways to help someone and how to identify when someone needs help. According to the research findings, this study provides suggestions for future reference of research and application in education fields.
