It has led the localisation of many applications and the creation of a website which allows its users to translate texts between Spanish and Catalan using an external closed-source translation engine. Recently, the closed-source translation back-end has been replaced by a free/open-source solution completely managed by Softcatalà: the Apertium machine translation platform and the ScaleMT web service framework. Thanks to the openness of the new solution, it is possible to take advantage of the huge amount of users of the Softcatalà translation service to improve it, using a series of methods presented in this paper. In addition, a study of the translations requested by the users has been carried out, and it shows that the translation back-end change has not affected the usage patterns. ; Softcatalà és una associació sense ànim de lucre creada fa més de deu anys per a lluitar contra la marginació de la llengua catalana en les tecnologies de la informació i la comunicació. Ha encapçalat la localització de moltes aplicacions i la creació d'un lloc web que permet als usuaris traduir textos entre l'espanyol i el català fent servir un motor de traducció de codi tancat. Recentment s'ha substituït la interfície d'administrador del traductor de codi tancat per una solució de codi lliure i obert gestionat completament per Softcatalà: la plataforma de traducció automàtica Apertium i el marc de servei de web ScaleMT. Pel fet que la nova solució és oberta, permet aprofitar la gran quantitat d'usuaris del servei de traducció Softcatalà per a millorar-lo utilitzant una sèrie de mètodes presentats en aquest article. A més, s'ha elaborat un estudi de les traduccions demanades pels usuaris que mostra que el canvi de la interfície d'administrador del traductor no ha afectat els patrons d'ús. ; Softcatalà es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro que se creó hace más de diez años para luchar contra la marginación de la lengua catalana en las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación. Ha encabezado la localización de muchas aplicaciones y la creación de un sitio web que permite a sus usuarios traducir textos entre el español y el catalán utilizando un motor de traducción externo de código cerrado. Recientemente se ha sustituido la interfaz de administrador del traductor de código cerrado por una solución de código libre y abierto completamente gestionada por Softcatalà: la plataforma de traducción automática Apertium y el marco de servicio web ScaleMT. Gracias al hecho de que se trata de una nueva solución abierta, se puede aprovechar la enorme cantidad de usuarios del servicio de traducción Softcatalà para mejorarlo, utilizando una serie de métodos presentados en este artículo. Además, se ha llevado a cabo un estudio de las traducciones solicitadas por los usuarios, y este muestra que el cambio de la interfaz de administrador del traductor no ha afectado a los patrones de uso.
