Представлен опыт применения комплекса упражнений по английскому языку в процессе подготовки специалистов в горном вузе. ; The article studies the development of foreign professional lexical competence of students of non-linguistic specialities considered gender features of male students. Gender differences between female and male students are examined on different levels: psychological, physical, cognitive and behavioural. The author also presents the experience of using the complex of exercises during the training of specialists in professionally focused education at English lessons at the Mining University.
