Abstract:
Diese Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Umsetzung der Forderungen des österreichischen Lehrplans für Fremdsprachen hinsichtlich der Grammatikkompetenzentwicklung, die mehrheitlich anhand kommunikativer Aktivitäten stattfinden soll. Ziel ist es, festzustellen, ob die Lehrplanforderungen anhand von Lehrbüchern für Tschechisch als Fremdsprache umgesetzt werden können. Zu diesem Zweck werden kommunikative Aktivitäten eigens definiert und eine Typologie von Aktivitäten vorgeschlagen. Es werden drei Arten von Aktivitäten, die in unterrichtlichen Aufgaben enthalten sind, unterschieden: kommunikative (inhaltlich und sprachlich frei), fertigkeitsbezogene (inhaltlich eingeschränkt, sprachlich frei oder eingeschränkt) sowie wissensbezogene (inhaltlich eingeschränkt, sprachlich abhängig). Es wird angeführt, dass kommunikative Aktivitäten keine gezielte Verwendung bestimmter grammatischer Strukturen beinhalten, jedoch als Feedbackmöglichkeit hinsichtlich der Beherrschung grammatischer Strukturen dienen. Eine Verbindung von Kommunikation und Grammatik kann bei der Präsentation und Einführung einer grammatischen Struktur angestrebt werden. Der Ansatz „grammatisch kompetent durch Kommunikation“, der eine kommunikative und linguistische Auseinandersetzung der im Mittelpunkt stehenden Struktur anstrebt, wird vorgestellt. Es wird auf die Sprechabsicht (Funktion), die Möglichkeiten ihrer Umsetzung sowie eine konkrete Umsetzung (Form) eingegangen. Als grammatische Kategorie wird der Verbalaspekt näher untersucht. Der Aspekt wird aus linguistischer Sicht vorgestellt, didaktische Überlegungen zur Thematisierung im Unterricht werden ebenso angeführt. Anhand des Analysemodells PEETA wird die didaktische Beschreibung des Verbalaspekts bewertet sowie das Aufgabenangebot in Lehrbüchern für Tschechisch als Fremdsprache untersucht. Obwohl die Art und Anzahl der unterschiedlichen Aktivitäten in der betreffenden Lektion des jeweiligen Lehrbuches aufgezeigt werden kann, ist die Umsetzbarkeit der Lehrplanforderungen nicht feststellbar, da die individuelle Gestaltung des Unterrichts durch die Lehrperson nicht berücksichtigt wird. Die Identifizierung kommunikativer Aktivitäten im jeweiligen Lehrbuch kann aber die Umsetzung der Lehrplanforderungen im Unterricht unterstützen. ; This paper deals with the implementation of curriculum practices laid down in the Austrian foreign language curriculum concerning the acquisition of grammatical structures. According to the foreign language curriculum grammatical competence ought to be gained primarily through communicative activities. The aim of the study is to determine whether Czech textbooks are able to put into practice the principles stated in the national curriculum. In order to answer the above-mentioned research question it is necessary to develop a working definition of communicative activities. Three different types of activities present in classroom exercises are distinguished: communicative activities (free selection of content and linguistic devices), skills-related activities (limited selection of content, free or limited selection of linguistic devices) as well as knowledge-based activities (no selection of content, exercise-dependent use of linguistic devices). It is suggested that focusing on particular aspects of grammar is not intended in communicative activities. Nevertheless they are able to inform teachers as well as students about the level of mastery of grammatical structures. Teachers may want to link grammar and communication when introducing new grammar items. The approach "grammatical competence through communication" is presented. It focuses on the speaker's intention (function), possible ways of realizing it as well as one particular way of realization (form). In this paper the Czech verbal aspect is analyzed. Both a linguistic as well as didactic description of the verbal aspect is presented. The model PEETA is used to evaluate its presentation in Czech textbooks and examine exercises provided in the respective unit. Despite being able to establish the nature of activities as well as their number, it is not possible to determine exactly when curriculum requirements are met because the teacher's individual way of organizing the learning process cannot be taken into account. Identifying communicative activities present in a textbook may, however, facilitate the implementation of the principles in question.
