Abstract:
En los últimos años hemos sido testigos del auge del Enfoque comunicativo en las clases de lenguas extranjeras. Los profesionales de idiomas hemos comenzado a mostrar un patente interés por el desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa, lo cual implica el diseño de actividades que se acerquen en mayor medida a la realidad y al día a día de sus hablantes. Fruto de este paradigma, los docentes hemos reparado en la creciente necesidad de introducir una cierta cantidad de contenidos socioculturales en las aulas, para así poder crear situaciones comunicativas más auténticas y pertinentes. Sin embargo, lejos de enseñar hechos e información de carácter enciclopédico, los esfuerzos se están dirigiendo ahora hacia una mayor transmisión de la cultura con minúscula, esto es, actos de habla, lenguaje no verbal y elementos paralingüísticos entre otros, pues el conocimiento de estos aspectos es lo que en última instancia permitirá a nuestros estudiantes desenvolverse con mayor autonomía en el país del idioma objeto de estudio. Es por eso por lo que por medio de este trabajo trataremos de promover el desarrollo de una competencia intercultural observable y evaluable en un contexto lingüístico de no inmersión. Por medio de la metodología y el análisis de datos adecuado, deseamos dar cuenta de las necesidades y los intereses del alumnado y a partir de ahí diseñar un curso formativo de mejora que les provea de las herramientas necesarias para un uso efectivo de la lengua extranjera fuera del aula. ; Over the past few years, the use of the Communicative Approach has increased significantly inside foreign language classrooms. Language professionals have begun to evince a deeper interest in the development of the Communicative Competence, which requires the design of activities that portray the reality and the speakers’ everyday lives. As a result, language teachers are now more aware of the necessity of introducing a higher level of cultural contents in the classroom so as to reproduce more authentic and consistent communicative situations. However, instead of teaching cultural facts such as literature, history or politics, the tendency nowadays is to teach facts that belong to the lowbrow culture, namely the aspects that help students to use the language more effectively. Therefore, our main goal is to promote the development of an intercultural competence that can be both, observed and assessed in a non-immersion language context. By using the right methodology and data analysis, we expect to account for the needs and interests of students and thus, design a course that provides learners with the necessary tools to use the foreign language in a consistent and responsible manner outside the classroom. ; Tesis Univ.
