Abstract:
El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el grado de difusión de información multilingüe en los sitios web corporativos de las pymes andaluzas dedicadas al sector sanitario −en concreto a las actividades odontológicas− así como indagar en otros aspectos como las variables que determinan que una empresa traduzca o no los contenidos de sus sitios web. Para ello, se ha llevado un análisis de 507 pymes en el que se han tenido en cuenta criterios como la existencia o no de un sitio web corporativo; la traducción o no de los contenidos de los sitios web y el número de idiomas disponibles, entre otros. Los resultados muestran que el 47,5 %de las pymes analizadas no disponen de sitio web y, las que cuentan con un sitio web, por lo general, lo ofrecen solo en un idioma, lo que dificulta la captación de potenciales clientes internacionales. ; The aim of this study is to analyze the availability of multilingual information in the corporate website of Andalusian Health SMEs −specifically those companies related to the dentistry sector. To this purpose, an analysis of 507 SMEs has been carried out considering criteria such as having or not a corporate website; the translation or not of the website content; and number of languages available, among others. Results show that 47,5% of the analyzed SMEs do not have a website and those having a website do not, generally, translate its content, which limits international customer acquisition and the opening to international markets.
