Abstract:
DIA-M har ønsket at bestemme profilen på fremtidige kandidater, idet man vil søge at skabe en kandidatprofil, der kan fremtidssikre DIA-M''s omdømme som et godt uddannelsessted. En række faktorer uden for DIA-M''s kontrol - mindre studenterårgange, forhøjede adgangskvotienter, færre bevillinger pr. studerende, nye krav og forventninger fra aftagerside m.m. - nødvendiggør prioriteringer og principvalg i forbindelse med studieplaner, faglig/pædagogisk udvikling og ressourcedisponeringer. For at have det bedst mulige beslutningsgrundlag har DIA-M blandt andet besluttet at iværksætte en spørgeskemaundersøgelse blandt de yngre kandidater. Spørgeskemaundersøgelsen har følgende formål: - at identificere både stærke og svage sider i den nuværende uddannelse; - at tilvejebringe grundlag for en vurdering af, hvad de kommende faglige og andre behov bliver i en række forskellige sammenhænge; - at få en foreløbig tilkendegivelse af muligheder og interesse for at arrangere en videreuddannelse/efteruddannelse for ... : The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Engineering Academy of Denmark wished to have the profile of future graduates determined in order to be able to create a graduate profile which may ensure the future reputation of the Department of Mechanical Engineering as a good institute of education. # A number of factors on which the Department of Mechanical Engineering has no influence (fewer students, higher exam quotient as a prerequisite for right of admission, smaller grants per student and new requirements and expectations on the part of those who employ the graduates, etc.) have made it necessary to put the various tasks in order of priority and to make decisions in principle in connection with syllabuses, technical/pedagogical development and use of resources. # In order to obtain the best possible basis for decision-making the Department of Mechanical Engineering decided, among other things, to carry out a questionnaire survey among the young graduates.
