Abstract:
В статье представлены некоторые лингвистические средства различных языковых уровней, эффективно используемые в англоязычном эзотерическом дискурсе и направленные на прямое и косвенное воздействие на читателя эзотерических текстов, а именно синтаксические и лексико-грамматические средства выражения побудительности. Значимость комплексного исследования эзотерического дискурса как особенного вида коммуникации, позволяющего читателю расширить знания о путях достижения успеха, обуславливает возрастающий интерес к его изучению и описанию особенностей в англоязычных текстах. Материалом исследования послужила книга Джо Витале «Ключ». Авторы делают попытку выявить разнообразные особенности организации текста и его воздействия на читателя, анализируя средства выражения побудительности с позиций семантического синтаксиса. Проанализировано значительное количество способов выражения побудительности в разнообразных формах. Помимо прямых наставлений, выраженных в нескольких типах повелительных предложений, для создания доверительной атмосферы и поддержания псевдодиалога наставник дает советы, выполнение которых необлигаторно и бенефактивно для читателя. При этом средства выражения модальности позволяют осуществлять переход от мягкого побуждения к воздействию более настойчивому. Использование сложных предложений с придаточными времени и условия также ненавязчиво оказывает воздействие на читателя. Представляется перспективным дальнейшее углубленное изучение синтаксиса и семантики эзотерического дискурса, например, вопросительных предложений. ; The article presents some linguistic means of different language levels which are effectively used in the English-speaking esoteric discourse and aimed at the direct and indirect impact on the reader of esoteric texts, namely, syntactical and lexical and grammatical means of imperative expression. The importance of a comprehensive study of esoteric discourse as a special form of communication, which allows the reader to expand knowledge about ways of achieving success, causes the increase of interest to the study and description of its representation in the English texts. «The key» by Joe Vitale served as a source of the factual language material. The authors try to reveal various features of text organization and ways of impact on the reader analyzing means of imperative expression from the standpoint of semantic syntax and illustrating everything by numerous examples. A significant number of ways of imperative expressions in various forms has been analyzed. So, in addition to direct instruction expressed in several types of imperative sentences, to create a trusting atmosphere and maintain a pseudo-dialogue the mentor gives advice performing of which is not obligatory and beneficial for readers. The means of expression of modality facilitate the transition from a soft to the more persistent spur into action. Using of complex sentences with clauses of time and conditions allows to unobtrusively influence the reader. Further advanced study of the syntax and semantics of esoteric discourse, for example, interrogative sentences, seems to be promising to the authors.
