Tratamiento de las lenguas cooficiales en los libros de texto en España ; Treatment of co-official languages in textbooks in Spain

Abstract:
Trabajo Fin de Grado en Lenguas Modernas, Cultura y Comunicación. Curso Académico 2019-2020 ; Este trabajo se realiza debido a la cantidad de testimonios negativos que existen en torno a los libros de texto de las diferentes lenguas cooficiales. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es analizar los libros de textos de la asignatura de lengua (tanto castellana como lengua cooficial) y demostrar como de correcto es su tratamiento sobre dichas lenguas. Con este trabajo buscamos presentar unos datos objetivos evitando así la subjetividad de las hipótesis de partida. Para la obtención de los datos se ha realizado un análisis de una serie de libros de texto. Una vez analizados los libros obtenemos datos que respaldan la idea de que no existe adoctrinamiento en los libros de la lengua cooficial (al menos en cuanto a este tema se refiere). Además, estos datos también serían usados para eliminar ciertas ideas como por ejemplo que el castellano está discriminado en las comunidades autónomas con otra lengua oficial. Por otro lado, es importante señalar las diferencias que existen entre las lenguas cooficiales en cuanto al tema del valenciano se refiere. En este trabajo también se demostrará como muchas editoriales discriminan a los dialectos históricos. Una vez expuestos estos datos y realizada la refutación de las hipótesis, encontramos dos problemas principales en estos libros. Por un lado, estos libros no tienen un consenso entre ellos generando confusión entre los alumnos. Por otro lado, estos libros solo se centran en las variedades estándares, invisibilizando los dialectos de cada lengua ; This work is conducted due to the amount of negative testimonies that exist around the textbooks of the different co-official languages. The main objective of this work is to analyze the textbooks of the language subject (both Spanish and co-official language) and to demonstrate how correctly they treat these languages. With this work we try to present some objective data avoiding this way the subjectivity of the starting hypothesis. In order to obtain the data, an analysis of a series of textbooks has been conducted. Once the books have been analyzed, we obtain data that support the idea that there is no indoctrination in the books of the co-official language (at least as far as this issue is concerned). Moreover, these data would also be used to eliminate certain ideas such as that Spanish is discriminated against in the autonomous communities with another official language. On the other hand, it is important to point out the differences that exist between the co-official languages regarding the issue of Valencian. In this work it will also be shown how many publishing houses discriminate against historical dialects. Once exposed these data and conducted the refutation of the hypotheses, we find two main problems in these books. On the one hand, these books do not have a consensus among them generating confusion among the students. On the other hand, these books only focus on the standard varieties, making the dialects of each language invisible
