Abstract:
; This article shows the way in which philological research has increased interest in representing linguistic data on maps due to the digital revolution. From a geolinguistics point of view this has generated, on the one hand, the beginning of numerous projects that aim to computerize traditional linguistic atlases and, on the other hand, the emergence of a not inconsiderable number of digital tools to represent the information on maps despite their moving away from the method of traditional linguistic geography. In this context, the idea of the CORPAT (Corpus delos atlas lingüísticos), a geolectal corpus whose main objective is to compile the answers of the regional linguistic atlases of Spanish to preserve them and offer them to the scientific and linguistic community so that they can be studied as a complement to the data offered by textual corpora and digital lexicography, was born.
