Abstract:
Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino no 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico ; O presente Relatório de Estágio foi desenvolvido no âmbito das Unidades Curriculares Prática Pedagógica Supervisionada A e Seminário de Investigação Educacional A, do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e Ensino no 1.º Ciclo de Ensino Básico e teve como objetivo principal perceber a importância que um trabalho didático para a valorização da diversidade linguística, nomeadamente europeia, tem nos primeiros anos de escolaridade. De maneira a dar resposta aos objetivos e questões de investigação, desenvolvemos um projeto de intervenção didática, com a duração de seis sessões, implementado numa turma do 3º ano de escolaridade, de uma escola da região de Aveiro, onde desenvolvemos a nossa Prática Pedagógica Supervisionada do último semestre do curso. Através das atividades em torno da sensibilização à diversidade linguística, abordámos conteúdos ao nível da Cultura linguística, nomeadamente das línguas da Europa (origem, famílias, expansão …). O projeto que desenvolvemos tem características de investigação-ação sendo que os métodos e instrumentos de recolha de dados que utilizámos foram a observação participante, o registo de videogravação, as fichas de atividades dos alunos e o questionário inicial e o final. Os resultados que obtivemos permitem-nos concluir que é possível desenvolver atividades com e acerca das línguas europeias, integrando-as nas restantes áreas curriculares. As atividades do projeto de sensibilização à diversidade linguística foram bem recebidas pelos alunos, proporcionando o aumento da Cultura linguística das crianças. ; The present Report was developed under the Curricular Units: Supervised Pedagogical Practice and Educational Research Seminar, part of the Master Degree in Pre-School and Primary Education. It was aimed to be acquainted with the importance that a didactic work has to value linguistic diversity, including European languages, particularly during the early years of schooling. In order to answer the research questions, we developed a didactic intervention project, lasting six sessions. It had been implemented in a class of 3rd grade, in a primary school of Aveiro, Portugal, regarding our last semester’s Supervised Pedagogical Practice. Throughout all activities developed around the awareness of linguistic diversity, we have approached some content related to linguistic culture and mainly to European languages (such as origins, families, expansion .). The project that we have developed contains action research features. For collecting data we have used participant observation, video recording, student record sheets with the student activity information and an initial and a final questionnaire. Regarding the results of our research we are able to conclude that it is possible to develop activities concerning the European languages by integrating them into other curriculum areas. These project activities to raise awareness of linguistic diversity have been well received by children and it showed an increase of interest on the subject. Due to all of these matters our motivation to work on this project had increased.
