Abstract:
Статья посвящена англосаксонскому периоду в истории Англии. Затрагивается проблема использования термина «англосаксонский». Раскрывается вопрос этнического состава жителей Великобритании до и после нормандского завоевания. Рассматриваются процессы ассимиляции, происходившие на территории Британских островов в период Средневековья. Акцентируется внимание на способности англосаксов ассимилировать другие народы на примере нормандцев (французов) и скандинавов. Прослеживаются процессы взаимодействия кельтской, римской, германской, скандинавской и нормандской культур, а также влияния латинского, древнескандинавского, французского и кельтского языков на язык англосаксов. Проанализированы факторы, повлиявшие на формирование культурной идентичности англичан. Особое внимание уделено процессу христианизации англосаксов, лингвистическим аспектам, литературным произведениям и роли интеллектуалов в образовании национальной английской культуры. Затрагивается проблема меняющегося представления об англосаксах и репрезентации ... : The article is devoted to the Anglo-Saxon period in the history of England, touches upon the problem of using the term "Anglo-Saxon", and explores the ethnic composition of the inhabitants of Great Britain before and after the Norman conquest. The study examines the processes of assimilation that took place on the territory of the British Isles during the Middle Ages. Attention is focused on the ability of the Anglo-Saxons to assimilate other peoples such as the Normans (the French) and Scandinavians. The article also traces the processes of interaction between Celtic, Roman, Germanic, Scandinavian and Norman cultures as well as the influence of the Latin, Old Norse, French and Celtic languages on the language of the Anglo-Saxons.
