Jahrhundert belegt ist. Mit dieser gemischten Rede sind zwei Bezeichnungen eng verbunden: "castrapo" und "chapurrado". Aufgrund der jahrhundertelangen Existenz der gemischten Rede sowie aufgrund der Existenz von Sprachbezeichnungen ist zu fragen, ob die gemischte Rede in Galicien als galicischgeprägtes Spanisch, als spanischgeprägtes Galicisch oder schon als neue Sprache zu klassifizieren ist. Dieser Frage wird anhand von innersprachlichen und außersprachlichen Aspekten nachgegangen: Innersprachlich liegt der Fokus auf der Morphologie der gemischten Rede. Außersprachlich wird im Gebrauch der Sprachbezeichnungen "castrapo" und "chapurrado" nach Anzeichen für eine Mischsprachenentstehung in der Wahrnehmung der Sprecher geforscht. Es zeigt sich, dass aktuell weder sprachlich-strukturell noch im Bewusstsein der Sprecher hinreichende Hinweise für eine eigenständige Mischsprache identifiziert werden können. Die Bezeichnungen werden stattdessen sowohl für galicischgeprägtes Spanisch als auch für spanischgeprägtes Galicisch gebraucht. Die geleistete diachrone Sicht auf die Verwendungsweisen von "castrapo" und "chapurrado" belegt jedoch erstmals anhand von Sprecheraussagen den Bedeutungswandel, der die aktuelle Bedeutungsvielfalt der Bezeichnungen erklärt. Besondere Beachtung verdienen auch die umfangreichen Transkriptionen der Korpora im Anhang, die umfassendes Material für weitere Untersuchungen der Sprachkontaktsituation Galiciens zur Verfügung stellen. ; The linguistic coexistence of Galician and Castilian in the Spanish region of Galicia has led to the rise of a Spanish-Galician mixed speech, which is attested since the 18th century. Two terms are closely connected with this mixed speech: "castrapo" and "chapurrado". The centuries-long existence of the mixed speech and the existence of these language denominations causes a doubt as to whether the mixed speech in Galicia should be classified as Galician-influenced Spanish, as Spanish-influenced Galician or even as a new language. This question is investigated based on intralinguistic and extralinguistic aspects. Intralinguistically, the focus lies on the morphology of the mixed speech. Extralinguistically, the use of the language denominations "castrapo" and "chapurrado", considered as an outcome of the speakers' perception, is analyzed for signs of mixed language emergence. Analysis of both the linguistic structure and the speakers' perception finds insufficient evidence to support the emergence of an independent mixed language. Instead, the terms castrapo and chapurrado are used mainly for Galician-influenced Spanish and/or for Spanish-influenced Galician. However, the diachronic view of the speakers' uses of "castrapo" and "chapurrado" presented in the analysis reveals a change in their meanings, which explains the current multiplicity of meanings of these terms for the first time based on field data. The appendix, containing transcriptions of the corpora that provide extensive material for future studies of the language contact situation in Galicia, deserves special attention.
