Abstract:
A capacidade de segmentar atividades contínuas em partes é um componente importante para compreender as narrativas. Estudos mostram que durante a percepção de uma atividade, seja realizada ou narrada, as mudanças nas características apresentadas na fonte de percepção atuam como chaves para a segmentação de fatos significativos. Neste estudo de revisão, observamos como as mudanças de situação (tempo, espaço, caráter, objeto, objetivo e causalidade) e físicos (marcas linguísticas) atuam no processo de segmentação de narrativas, com o objetivo de mostrar como as línguas de sinais compartilham características linguísticas e não linguísticas que atuam como pistas de demarcação de fronteiras no mecanismo de segmentação de eventos.
