Une histoire brève de l’origine de la langue sango en Afrique centrale

Abstract:
L’existence du sango remonte à quelques années après l’arrivée de la première expédition coloniale européenne à la source de la rivière Oubangui, située à environ 600 km à l’est de ce qui est maintenant Bangui, capitale de la République Centrafricaine. La proposition à moi se résume ainsi: le sango a du apparaître par la pidginisation des dialectes locaux du ngbandi sur le Haut-Oubangui pendant l’époque où Alphonse Van Gele, représentant de l’Etat Indépendant du Congo y faisait un séjour de plus d’un an avec des auxiliaires africains de plusieurs ethnies. Le nouvel idiome est attesté dès 1896; il y a aussi des listes de vocabulaire de 1906 et 1908. Dès 1925 cette nouvelle langue atteignait déjà l’Ouest du pays près de la frontière du Cameroun. L’explication de son origine qui suit est basée sur une recherche de plus de quarante ans et conséquemment diffère catégoriquement de celle de Marcel Diki-Kidiri (1982, 1986).
