Abstract: 教育心理與輔導學系 ; 本研究旨在探討國小三年級學童之閱讀流暢表現與文章文體、性別、識字能力、唸名速度、及閱讀理解間的關係。研究對象為高屏地區三所國小157位學生。他們首先以團體施測方式完成中文閱讀理解測驗;之後再進行個別施測,學生先朗讀記敘文和說明文各一篇,以測量閱讀速度、閱讀正確性與情感表達等三項流暢分項指標,再完成數字唸名測驗和中文年級認字量表。本研究主要發現如下: 一、國小三年級學童閱讀記敘文時,閱讀速度比說明文快,正確性比較高,情感表達也較佳。 二、國小三年級女生閱讀記敘文和說明文的情感表達比男生更好,但閱讀速度和閱讀正確性則沒有性別差異。 三、國小三年級學童的識字能力和數字唸名速度可以預測兩種文體之閱讀速度、閱讀正確性與情感表達等三項流暢分項指標。 四、國小三年級學童閱讀記敘文的閱讀速度和情感表達可以顯著預測閱讀理解,但閱讀正確性對閱讀理解沒有預測力;即便排除了識字能力和唸名速度後,仍得到相同的結果。 五、國小三年級學童閱讀說明文的閱讀速度、閱讀正確性和情感表達可以顯著預測閱讀理解;即便排除了識字能力和唸名速度後,仍得到相同的結果。 ; This study aimed to examine the relationships among third graders’ oral reading fluency Chinese character recognition rapid naming speed reading comprehension text genre and gender A total of 157 students drawn from three elementary schools in Kaohsiung-Pingtung area served as participants After the students completed a standardized reading comprehension test in their classroom each student met individually with an interviewer The student was asked to read a narrative passage and an expository passage orally The reading rate and reading accuracy of his or her oral readings were recorded and the prosody was rated Then the student completed The Number Rapid Naming Test and Chinese Character Recognition Test The results were as followings: 1 The third graders read the narrative passage faster than the expository passage The accuracy and the prosody for the narrative text were also better than for the expository text 2 Girls scored higher in prosody than boys but there was no gender difference in reading rate and accuracy 3 For both the narrative text and the expository text Chinese character recognition and rapid naming speed were strong predictors of the reading rate the reading accuracy as well as the prosody of the oral readings 4 After Chinese character recognition and rapid naming speed were accounted for the reading rate and the prosody for the readings of narrative text predicted reading comprehension significantly 5 After Chinese character recognition and rapid naming speed were accounted for the reading rate the reading accuracy and the prosody of the readings for the expository text were the positive predictors for reading comprehension
