Abstract: 早稲田大学 ; 早稲田大学 ; 本稿では,筆者らが行った日本語教育実践「進学動機の自覚を促す活動」の実践内容を報告する。今回の授業実践によって,分析対象者である学習者Aには特に顕著な認識の変化が見られた。この学習者の中にどのような認識の変化が起こったのかを,エピソード・インタビュー分析によって明らかにした。分析の結果,授業で学んだことを日常生活でも明確に意識するようになり,学習者Aの学びが授業内に留まらず,授業外にまで及んでいったことが明らかになった。以上の分析を踏まえ,学習者一人一人の進学動機の自覚を促す場の設定の必要性を主張する。 ; This report details research conducted during our Japanese as a second language (JSL) course that focused on student self-awareness and motive recognition. The focus was each student's reasons for studying Japanese and continuing their education in Japan. We based our research primarily on data obtained from student 'A' who showed significant change during the course. As a result of the analysis, we found that self-reflection helps to enhance and develop students' learning both in and outside the classroom. Finally, we stress the value of such self-reflection classes as an important aspect of the Japanese education curriculum.
