Curs: 2019-2021, Tutora: Fuensanta Puig Soler ; [spa] En la presente investigación sobre el uso de las metáforas conceptuales en la enseñanza de español como lengua extrajera y segunda lengua (ELE/L2) en la República Argentina buscamos examinar el potencial cognitivo que estas poseen como instrumento desarrollador de la competencia comunicativa y de las estrategias de aprendizaje de los aprendientes, desde la perspectiva de los profesores, en función de sus propias creencias y experiencia docente. Nuestro interés radica en abordar un tema poco tratado en el ámbito de ELE/L2, en general, y en la República Argentina, en particular, donde no existen trabajos acerca de este tema. Por lo tanto, pensamos que este estudio puede significar un novedoso aporte en el país y que puede contribuir con material de debate para explotar la potencialidad que las metáforas conceptuales encierran como herramienta de aprendizaje con alto impacto en la habilidad comunicativa. En este sentido, los resultados fueron halagüeños, dado que revelan que los docentes consideran que trabajar con metáforas conceptuales ayuda, en gran medida, al desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa, con especial énfasis en las competencias estratégica y pragmática, así como en las estrategias de aprendizaje socioafectivas, en primer lugar, seguidas de las estrategias de memoria y de las cognitivas. Asimismo, el trabajo también indaga otros aspectos como el papel que desempeña la competencia metafórica en la competencia comunicativa, y otros complementarios, como la rentabilidad pedagógica de las metáforas conceptuales, la frecuencia de aparición en los manuales de clase, los objetivos de enseñanza que los docentes persiguen con su aplicación, las tipologías textuales en las que las trabajan y las actividades que proponen en las clases para su utilización. ; [eng] This research about the usage of the conceptual metaphors in the teaching of Spanish as Foreign and Second Language (SFL/SSL) in the Argentine Republic seeks to examine the cognitive potential they have as a tool to develop students’ communicative competence and learning strategies, from the teachers’ perspective and based on their own beliefs and teaching experience. Our main interest lies on the few existing works related to this subject in the SFL/SSL field, in general, and in Argentina, in particular. Therefore, this may represent a novel contribution for the country by opening the debate on the exploitation of the communicative potential that underlies on the conceptual metaphors as learning tools with a high impact on the communicative ability. In this sense, the results were promising, since they reveal that teachers consider that working with conceptual metaphors helps, to a large extent, to develop communicative competence, especially strategic and pragmatic competences; as well as socio-affective learning strategies, which lead the first place, followed by memory and cognitive ones. Furthermore, this study explores other aspects such as the role played by metaphorical ability on communicative competence, and other complementary items, as the pedagogical profitability of these metaphors; their frequency of appearance in class textbooks; the purposes that teachers pursue with their application; and the input they use and the kind of activities they propose when working on them in class.
