Abstract:
International audience ; After a first article on editing 17th c. texts in the 18th c., we continue our survey on the modernisation of French classical literature. In the history of this ecdotical choice, the apparition of romance philology during the 19th c. is a turning point, since which medievalists and specialists of 17th c. French have developed different editorial traditions, despite a clear attempt from the specialists of the Middle Ages to influence their colleagues. ; Après un premier article sur l’édition des textes du XVIIe s. au XVIIIe s., nous continuons au notre enquête sur la modernisation massive de la littérature française classique. Dans l’histoire de ce choix ecdotique, le XIXe s., moment de l’apparition de la philologie romane, nous apparaît comme un tournant à partir duquel les médiévistes et les dix-septiémistes ont développé des traditions éditoriales très différentes, et ce malgré une nette volonté des spécialistes du Moyen Âge d’influencer leurs collègues.
