(2016) Abstract: Mit der Veröffentlichung [.] reagiert das Institut für Schulentwicklungsforschung auf aktuelle Bedarfe der 29 Ganztagsgymnasien des Projekts "Ganz-In - Mit Ganztag mehr Zukunft. Das neue Ganztagsgymnasium NRW", und möchte diesen und weiteren Schulen Impulse für ihre Arbeit mit neu zugewanderten Kindern und Jugendlichen liefern. [.] Da zunächst geklärt werden soll, wie die aktuelle Situation und die rechtliche Ausgangslage für neu zugewanderte Kinder und Jugendliche in Nordrhein-Westfalen aussehen, beginnt der Praxisband mit einer Einführung in die aktuelle Thematik sowie die rechtlichen Grundlagen. Darauf aufbauend wird auf die Integrationsfunktion von Schule Bezug genommen. Nachdem dargestellt wird, welche besonderen Aufgaben und Funktionen sich hierbei für Schulen im Kontext der Integrationsfunktion ableiten lassen, werden verschiedene Handlungsstrategien von Schulen in Form [.] schulorganisatorischer Modelle beschrieben. Diese sollen aufzeigen, wie Schulen bislang mit der Aufgabe der Beschulung umgehen bzw. wie sie die Beschulung umsetzen können. An diese Ausführungen anschließend wird die momentane Situation an ausgewählten Ganz-In-Gymnasien dargestellt. Auf Grundlage der Ergebnisse der Auswertung der Interviews und unter Rückgriff auf einige exemplarische Schulkonzepte zur Integration dieser neuen Schülerschaft wird beschrieben, wie der Umgang mit neu zugewanderten Schülerinnen und Schülern ohne Deutschkenntnisse in der Praxis an Ganztagsschulen gestaltet werden kann.
