Abstract:
In contemporaneity, Applied Linguistics has served as a basis for several researches that seek to understand the constitution and functioning of the discourse genres, which have their own outlines in the digital medium. In this work, we aim to analyze the genre videoclass as a sócio-historically statement situated in cyberculture, focusing on the platform YouTube. The theoretical basis derives from the dialogism of the Bakhtin Circle, in addition to sociological studies that allow a better understanding of virtual interaction. The methodology is characterized by a qualitative-interpretative bias, and the corpus consists of three videoclasses from YouTube channels: YouTube Edu, Me Salva! And Umberto Mannarino’s channel. From the analysis of the social dimension of genre, we focus on approaching the sphere, the chronotope and the subjects in interaction. We observe that the online videoclass is built in the sócio-historical conditions of late modernity, in a space-time of disengagement in social relations and search for legitimate sayings, in which the educational sphere is crossed by genres and discourses from other spheres. As for the subjects foreseen in interaction, we notice an extrapolation of the teacher-student relationship, which results in a producerconsumer of content relationship. Furthermore, in the verb-visual dimension analysis, we comprehend that the object Enem’s essay is realized through various discursive purposes, which are interchanged between pedagogical and commercial interests, mediated by YouTube’s platform algorithm. Style projections, in turn, reveal a relationship of closeness and humor, through a high level of colloquiality. Regarding the composition of the videoclass on YouTube, we observe that the memory of the genre class is resignified to adapt it to the platform’s video format. From the results, we interpret YouTube’s videoclass as a hybrid genre, crossed by spheres and purposes which characterize it as a video of educational content – a genre permeated by the discourses of education and entertainment. ; Na contemporaneidade, a Linguística Aplicada tem servido de base para diversas pesquisas que buscam compreender a constituição e o funcionamento dos gêneros do discurso, os quais apresentam contornos próprios do meio digital. Neste trabalho, objetivamos analisar o gênero videoaula como um enunciado sócio-historicamente situado na cibercultura, com foco na plataforma YouTube. O embasamento teórico parte do dialogismo do Círculo de Bakhtin, além de estudos sociológicos que permitem compreender melhor a interação virtual. A metodologia se caracteriza por uma perspectiva qualitativo-interpretativista, e o corpus é composto por três videoaulas de canais do YouTube: o YouTube Edu, o Me Salva! E o canal de Umberto Mannarino. A análise foi feita a partir de duas dimensões: a dimensão social e a verbo-visual. Da análise da dimensão social do gênero, focalizou-se em aproximar da esfera, do cronotopo e dos sujeitos em interação. Observamos que a videoaula online se constrói nas condições sócio-históricas da modernidade tardia, em um espaço-tempo de desencaixe nas relações sociais e busca por dizeres legitimados, em que a esfera educacional é atravessada por gêneros e discursos de outras esferas. Quanto aos sujeitos previstos na interação, foi observada uma extrapolação da relação professoraluno, que resulta em uma relação produtor-consumidor de conteúdo. Em um segundo momento, passamos à análise da dimensão verbo-visual; compreendemos que o objeto do dizer redação do Enem se realiza por meio de finalidades discursivas várias, que se intercambiam entre interesses pedagógicos e comerciais, mediados pelo algoritmo da plataforma YouTube. As projeções de estilo, por sua vez, revelam uma relação de proximidade e humor, por meio de linguagem com alto nível de coloquialidade. Em relação à composição da videoaula no YouTube, observamos que a memória do gênero aula é ressignificada para uma adequação ao formato de vídeo da plataforma. A partir dos resultados, interpretamos a videoaula do YouTube como um gênero híbrido, atravessado por esferas e finalidades que a caracterizam como vídeo de conteúdo educativo, um gênero perpassado pelos discursos da educação e do entretenimento.
