Facultat de Filosofia i Lletres. - 2016 Abstract: The content of this paper explores how cross-linguistic influence affects the acquisition of English as a second language in a group of 2nd year Batxillerat students. Specifically, negative transfer at the lexical level, taking problem cognates as the matter of study, is the main area of analysis. "False friends" are then divided into three groups in order to see if there is one that creates more difficulties for students than the others. Additionally, a brief comparison between oral and written output is carried out in order to see whether spontaneity in conversation affects language accuracy. Written-based planning before speaking is proposed as a pedagogical strategy to facilitate the acquisition of problem cognates ; El contingut d'aquest estudi tracta com la interferència lingüística afecta l'adquisició de l'anglès com a segona llengua en un grup d'estudiants de 2n de batxillerat. Especialment, la principal àrea d'anàlisi és la interferència negativa en l'àmbit lèxic, prenent com a objecte d'estudi els falsos cognats. Els "falsos amics", doncs, són dividits en tres grups per tal de veure si n'hi ha un que implica pels estudiants més dificultats que els altres. A més a més, es duu a terme una breu comparació entre les modalitats oral i escrita amb l'objectiu d'observar si la precisió lingüística es veu afectada en un context de conversa espontània. Com a estratègia pedagògica que pugui facilitar l'adquisició dels falsos cognats es proposa la planificació mitjançant l'escriptura abans de la producció oral.
