Spatio-temporal Progression of Cortical Activity Related to Continuous Overt and Covert Speech Production in a Reading Task (Dataset)
Abstract: The article that was based on this research data is available in KU ScholarWorks at http://hdl.handle.net/1808/22068. ; This dataset provides the individual ECoG broadband power and speech intensity envelope from eight participant obtained according to the procedures in, “Spatio-temporal Progression of Cortical Activity Related to Continuous Overt and Covert Speech Production in a Reading Task,” to be published in PLOS One. The Readme.txt file contains a description of all scripts and data files contained within this repository. All m-files and mat-files are compatible with Matlab 2016b. The ZIP file contains the individual broadband power estimates in CSV format, and should be extracted to a subfolder “Data” for compatibility with the main analysis script Main.m. This ZIP file also contains a Readme file to describe the row-column format of each of the subject CSV files. These files contain all the necessary data to replicate the results found in the paper with specific examples for calculating the activation index values and plotting on a brain surface. Anyone is free to use these data for scholarly purposes, but must include a citation to this repository in any papers, presentations or published articles that use these data.
