Работа выполнена в рамках критического дискурс-анализа с использованием инструментария корпусной лингвистики. Корпус был сформирован из 9822 статей, так или иначе затрагивающих исламскую проблематику. В качестве источников нами были отобраны 6 российских общефедеральных газет за период с 01.01.2010 по 31.12.2013: «Российская газета», «Коммерсант», «Комсомольская правда», «Московский комсомолец», «Независимая газета», «Новая газета». В ходе исследования была выявлена структура дискурса об исламе и его семантическое ядро на основе анализа ключевых слов для каждой из газет. Реализация функций «коллокация» и «n-грам» позволили проанализировать лексическую сочетаемость лексемы ислам. Большое количество контекстов употребления лексемы «ислам» являются источниками негативного образа ислама. Концепт ислама в этом дискурсе включает в себя такие образы, как политические акторы, готовые использовать насильственные методы борьбы для достижения своих целей, идеология, оправдывающая их действия. Негативный образ заключается в семантическом приравнивании ислама к военизированному, агрессивному явлению. Кроме того, анализ концепта «ислам» обнаруживает четкую семантическую просодию, ярким примером которой является дихотомия «традиционный vs радикальный ислам».The paper presents the results of an empirical study into the discourse on Islam in the contemporary Russian press. The research was made in the framework of critical discourse analysis using the tools of corpus-based linguistics. The corpus includes 9, 822 articles on Islamic issues from six Russian national newspapers covering the period from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2013: Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Kommersant, Komsomolskaya Pravda, Moskovsky Komsomolets, Nezavisimaya Gazeta, and Novaya Gazeta. The AntConc software was used for the search of collocations, concordances and other terms. Key-word analysis of each newspaper revealed the structure of the discourse on Islam and its semantic core. The collocation and n-gram functions were used to reveal the co-occurrence range of the term Islam. According to the author, the negative image of Islam is produced on account of a large number of contexts for the word Islam. In general, it is based on the emphasis on the word’s political, rather than religious associations. In the print madia discourse, the concept of Islam includes such images as political actors, prepared to use violent methods in order to achieve their goals, as well as the ideology that justifies their actions. The negative image of Islam is created through the representation of Islam as a paramilitary, aggressive phenomenon. The author has also traced a clear semantic prosody that can be illustrated by the traditional vs radical Islam dichotomy.
