Abstract: International audience ; For future teachers of French as a foreign language who are non-native speakers, teaching know-how should not be assumed to be equal to language mastery. While the possession of language knowledge and ability is the foundation of language teaching, teacher training is a separate skill. Establishing teacher training for French as a foreign language within the Japanese educational system and reflecting upon current issues from the view point of professional didactics are the sine qua non for the transmission of educational cultural knowledge to future teachers. ; Pour les futurs enseignants non natifs de FLE, la formation des enseignants ne doit pas être considérée comme étant assimilée à la maîtrise de la langue. Le savoir-enseigner n’est pas identique aux savoirs et au savoir-dire langagiers, même si la possession des derniers fonctionne comme base pour l’appropriation du premier. Trouver une place pour la formation au métier d’enseignant de FLE dans le système éducatif et réfléchir aux problèmes liés à cette dernière du point de vue de la didactique professionnelle constituent une condition sine qua non pour transmettre les cultures éducatives de l’enseignement/apprentissage du français à de futurs enseignants.
